Rants, like letters to the editor, are best when brief, pointed and literate. Like Haiku. To date, my posts have been personal rants; I like to scour letters to the editor in newspapers from around the planet to discover what ordinary people are ranting about in, e.g., Islamabad, Johannesburg, Cairo, Auckland and Oklahoma City. Future posts will include the best of these finds.
I welcome readers to send me “rants” they have found in their peregrinations around the web, on any topic, with the proviso that they be – short, pointed and literate.
Let the rants flow!
Bill,
You have out done yourself! So thurn the tables. Which of the big three democratic hopefulls do you trust with the big job? With all the smooth speaches of Obama, is that enough to be Pesident? Has Edwards sold himself to the unions? Is Hilary too much – well Helary? Your input is always appreciated.
Jesus, are you kidding?
You need to read my blog my man, it’s a littany of rants!
Nice site.
All the best
John

Loved your Wall Street Greed song, and give kudos to your efforts to shine light on injustices that seemingly run rampant not only here in the U.S. but around the world.
Would like to call your attention to another of your ilk who co-authored a book on the Financial Pillaging of our great nation. The link I’m sending should serve as a better intro to it and him than I can give. http://www.truthaboutmoney.org
Below is letter to Sun Herald in Biloxi, MS that Stephen wrote about his 91 yr. old co-author titled “Ode to a Warrior and a cause” Hope it serves to inspire.

Frank Wallace has long proclaimed the truth about money.
Perceptive readers of the Sun Herald’s letters to the editor will recognize the name Frank Wallace of Biloxi as a frequent contributor whose quest is still to educate and enlighten the public on much-needed monetary reform, arguably the most important issue of our time.
Meeting Frank after years of saving his astute letters was a great inspiration to me to assist him and to help continue his work. At nearly 91, he is ready to pass the torch to another after so many years of his efforts being mostly ignored, and I am honored to enjoy his friendship, encouragement and support. Together, we recently co-authored a book for laymen on the subject, titled “Truth About Money — The Worst Fraud / Scandal / Swindle / Crime in American History: The Federal Reserve Banking Act.” It reveals the prime causes of our national economic failures through America’s early history and also provides the remedy.
A portion of Frank’s letter published Nov. 22, 2004, is worth re-quoting:
“Our Constitution gives Congress, representing the American people, the power to create and issue money. Nowhere does the Constitution provide that this money power can be transferred to private citizens, bankers.
“The banking industry says government issued debt-free money won’t work. Such claims are unworthy of the serious consideration of responsible people. Debt-free money would not be bad for the economy. It would make the economy much better, and the yearly interest now going to the banking industry would be available to the people and for businesses to expand. The income tax and the national debt could be reduced. Unprecedented prosperity would result. The nation’s moral tone would gradually begin to improve. We are a lesser people now, a more corrupt people than we were in 1913 when the private-banker debt-money system was imposed upon us.”

Hi, I’d like to know when, I.e. under what administration, congressional reps were granted lifetime pensions and health care after only one term of office.
Hi
must say I am not sure which of my posts your comment relates to. Or what the issue is. Please clarify and I will happily offer my free opinion(:-)
Hi Bill, Now I see your response to my question. It wasn’t one of your rants but please try to find the answer to my question. Marc is joining us for dinner tonight so I’m running out now.

Nice rants! Short and sweet and hard to beat. I look forward to reading more.
Idiots voting! I would respect your choice if it was an informed one, but people I talk (debate) with vote based on things they pull out the air. And they wonder why government is broken.
