The blatant fabrications and low-ball slime tactics coming out of the McCain camp are truly stunning. Sen. McCain must indeed believe (or hope) that we are all stupid. Or, more likely, his cluelessness on the Internet, e-mail, in short, the entire electronic universe in which we all live, leads him to believe that he can propagate lies and half-truths with impunity, not understanding that every fabrication can be debunked in nano-seconds not just by the “media elites” but by the average Joe with a browser. Palin is merely on auto-pilot with her mindless repetitions of claims already well exposed as false. She cannot avoid answering direct questions much longer, and the first outing (with ABC’s Charlie Gibson) had better not be GOP-vetted softballs. When it comes to fabrications, this lady is a champ.
What would have been considered a last ditch effort has become the campaign. The GOP media, swiftboating, blatant lies and the most elementary, lowest common denominators are flying from the McCain camp. But the HIPOCRISY is the hardest to take. For a good laugh, view Jon Stewart

They find Clarence Thomas, the only black man in America who hates civil rights and make him a Supreme Court justice.
They invent death from the sky and call it a Patriot Missile.
They rape the environment and call it the “Healthy Forests Initiative”
They spy on Americans and call it the “Patriot Act.”
Now they put up Bush in bra and call it “change!”
